One reason I created this blog was so that I could write a little something every other day about whatever was currently going on in my life. I love The Hopkins Family Fore blog, but it's becoming difficult to recall every funny story that happens and actually have the time to write about it. I thought I would kick off my first real post by revealing one of the biggest secrets about motherhood that most people don't understand (unless you're a mother of course). I love my children very much, which is maybe why it's so hard for me to admit that I feel like I’m struggling to enjoy this parental privilege. And I do believe being a parent is a privilege...any schmuck out there can be a "uterus donor", but it takes a lot love and an unselfish heart to be a mother...loving your babies comes easily...but liking them all the time takes work.
